AI Deadline gone, Data processed no feedback from Meta or it's DPOs

Updated: Jun 3

Over the past year, I have tried unsuccessfully to delete my data from #Meta, despite not having access to my profile. Even contacting the relevant data protection officer in Switzerland at #NKF did not yield any positive results. Furthermore, support from #EDÖB was also unable to help me progress with my case.

The final statement pointed from NKF: "We forwarded your communication with meta and I should communicate directly..."

However, the crucial question remains: with whom should I communicate? Where should I direct my requests? All my previous direct attempts have been unsuccessful.

Therefore, I find myself back at square one. This entire process does not instill confidence in its potential success and suggests that without the backing of a significant entity, achieving data deletion is impossible.

Perhaps Meta is simply a problematic actor among the major tech companies. I am uncertain how this process would fare under the purview of Microsoft or Google.

This situation leaves me with a negative feeling. Nevertheless, I intend to persist with my request and will explore again whether EDÖB can offer further assistance or if I can obtain the necessary contact within Meta to pursue my request.
